We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our Restaurant team and construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings.
Bilingual with English and another Eastern European language would be advantageous.
Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques
Ability to study each recipe and ensure that all ingredients are available, make suggestions for changes for improvement, and modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests
Fully manage Kitchen Team, including hiring and training of Staff, as well as managing Team workloads and compensation within the Financial and Payroll responsibilities outlined in the Job Description
Plan Orders of Food and Equipment including planning for the Holiday Seasons
Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, e.g. knives, pans and kitchen scales
Keep kitchen clear and tidy throughout the day
Check freshness of food, ensure FIFO system is in place and that all out of date food is discarded
Experiment with recipes
