🥧 BANDELĖS 🥧

These sweet treats instantly disappear from the table! 🧾- This Bandelės Recipe is tested by myself: I RECOMMEND!

The dough will need:
🔸3 cups of wheat flour
🔸2 tbsp sugar
🔸1 tsp. salts
🔸11 g. dry yeast
🔸1 / 2 glass of water
🔸1 / 4 glass of milk
🔸50 g. butter
🔸1 egg

The filling will need:
🔹50 g. melted butter
🔹200g curd
🔹2 tbsp sugar
🔹1 tsp vanilla extract
🔹1 egg

Method:

▪️We mix the flour, sugar, salt and yeast in a large bowl.
▪️Heat water, milk and butter over medium/low heat in a pot until it dissolves, then let cool.
▪️Beat the egg separately then mix with the milk mixture.
▪️We then mix the wet with the dry products, and then knead the dough and cover with a kitchen towel – leave at room temperature for about 1 hour to rise.
▪️When the dough doubles, roll out a rectangular dough sheet about 1 cm thick. ▪️Next, you can make the curd filling by mixing the melted butter, curd, sugar, vanilla extract and egg.
▪️We then cut the dough into strips, spreading a thin layer of the curd mixture over all the dough. We then roll these up tightly into rolls.
▪️Line and grease the baking tin with baking paper and butter, put the prepared buns together and cover them again with a towel and leave to rise for about 1 hour. warmly.
▪️Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 35 minutes.

The cooking itself takes time, but trust me, the taste is definitely worth it!
