Delicious Cottage Cheese Scone Recipe
Today, I really fancied cottage cheese scones for breakfast today so I decided to make them for the whole family. Therefore I thought it was a great opportunity to try the recipe that was kindly sent by one of our clients. I will definitely make it again because they were extremely delicious! The scones were a family hit, everyone enjoyed them and even had seconds! My eldest enjoyed them with sour cream and my youngest had them with jam. You Will Need the following:
- 4 eggs
- Pinch of sat
- A cup of flour
- Couple of handfuls of cumin
Firstly, you mix together the cheese, eggs, flour and salt. Next, you pour a glass of hot water onto the cumin and leave it to soak for a few minutes. Then you pour this over the dough mix and mix all the ingredients together. Soaked cumin has lots of flavour and saturation, this why there is no need to add any sugar to this mix. On baking paper you then put a spoonful of dough and do not need to worry about shaping them at all. You will need to bake them in the oven for 20 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees. This recipe should make two trays so therefore plenty to go around!
