Meatballs with Gherkins

Serves 8

500g mix of Mince Beef and Mince Pork

  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tbsp Grated Mustard
  • 5 tbsp Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp Dried Dill
  • 8 Gherkins
  • Seasoning
  • Oil


  1. Knead the mince, egg mustard, breadcrumbs, dill and seasoning together in a bowl.
  2. Form rectangular flat patties and put a gherkin in the middle. Mould the meat around the gherkin so that it is completely covered.
  3. Preheat Oven to 180c
  4. Place the gherkin meatballs into a foil lined pan and bake until the meat is fully cooked
  5. Serve with fried potatoes and enjoy!
