When creating the perfect dish it’s important to choose the right cut of meat, cooking method and marination method, this allows you to extract the best flavours from the meat and make every meal delicious.

7 TIPS FROM THE BUTCHER🙌🏻⤵️

Pork Dishes

🥩IF YOU WANT TO MAKE PORK DISHES, THEY WILL BE MUCH TASTIER AND JUICIER IF YOU USE THE CORRECT PARTS OF MEAT:

If you want to cook a large-scale dish to impress your guests choose a pork loin or cutlet. This cut is without any drippings or bones and is the softest part of the pork.

Pork ham, shoulder, and neck are perfect for making bbq, stews, goulash, sausages and rolls. To make smoked pork products, choose bacon. Choose neck for juicy steaks and ham for schnitzels. For mincemeats, choose the ground ham part of the meat.

🥩PORK ON THE GRILL IS RECOMMENDED TO BE FRIED WITH THE BONE.
This will keep it juicier, and flavoursome.

Beef for Cooking

🥩TO GET THE MOST FLAVOUR OUT OF BEEF, MAKE SURE YOU CHOOSE THE CORRECT COOKING METHOD AND CUTS :
For steaks, choose aged beef entrecote, prime rib or ham. For baking in the oven, choose ribs and sirloin. Use neck beef for ground or slow (several hours) cooking.🙌🏻

🥩THE HEALTHIEST MEAT WILL BE WHEN YOU DON’T ADD ANY FAT:
It is recommended to bake the meat in the oven in its own juices, boil or stew it. 🍵

Marinating Methods

🥩 IF YOU WANT THE MARINATE TO SOAK INTO THE MEAT AS BETTER AND AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE:
Cover the meat in salted water or marinate it by massaging it.

🥩VARY UP MEAT DISHES USING THE “DRY MARINATION” METHOD.
The main spices are salt, ground black pepper, ▪️and your favourite spices.🌱
🌶️Season meat with salt only before baking. The meat will remain juicier and softer if you use coarse rather than fine salt. 👌🏻

🥩 USE ONLY TWO ACID INGREDIENTS FOR MARINATING MEAT.
Using more of them will spoil the taste of the meat. Choose vinegar, kefir, 🥛 yoghurt, wine, 🍷 fruit. 🍍 Add adjika, soy sauce or ginger.
Delicious for everyone!👩🏼‍🍳👨🏻‍🍳
